The Friends of the Miami-Dade County Public Library are celebrating 50 years of existence and support of our Library System. To mark this milestone, an exciting, can’t-miss fundraising event is planned for November 16 at 7:00 pm at the Coral Gables Branch Library, located at 3443 Segovia Street, Coral Gables, to further support our library system. Founded in 1974, the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library has spent five decades fostering public interest in the Miami-Dade Library and its branches. Through advocacy, community engagement, and fundraising, the Friends have enriched library programming and connected people of all ages with valuable resources.
